Top Ten Flashlights - Q3 2008
2008 Q3 continues to be dominated by MCU (Microcontroller (µC) Unit) based Cree XR-E & Seoul Zpower P4 LED Flashlights. NiteCore Extreme and NiteCore Defender Infinity Silver Special Edition from Edge Tactical Co. Ltd still remain on the top in to the first two places in terms of for sheer volume in page views. Where as Arc6 LS is the rookee flashlight of the Q3 2008. Other new entrants to the top ten flashlights by hits per day were Ra Twisty 100, JETBeams Jet II Pro IBS, Jet III Pro IBS and Arc AAA Premium GS.
In Q3 2008 we have recieved Nitecore Smart PD (Piston Drive) series flashlights namely D10 and EX10 from 4sevens.com. A special package with interesting lights from lighthound.com and a few fenixlights are in review pipeline. In order to provide long term review results we have been using these lights on a daily basis to perform extensive analysis. We hope to post review these some time in the coming weeks.
Also, in Q3 2008, we reviewed flashlight related products such as eneloop batteries, battery analyzers and most importantly the best light meter in its class the Gossen Mavolux 5032 B USB light meter.
Stats from 1st July 2008 to 30th September 2008 is taken in to consideration for the 2008 Q3 Top Ten analysis. Here are the two tables showing results for Top Ten Flashlights for 2008 Q3. First table has results sorted by "hits/day".
Here is the table with results sorted by "sheer volume". Note that eventhogh some lights have been reviewed prior to 1st July 2008 the number of hits taken in to consideration are only from 1st July 2008 to 30th September 2008. The total hits for lights reviewed prior to the date range is considerably more.
