Introduction:
JETBeam C-LE V2 is one of the most economical, high quality and high output AA Cell based LED flashlight. C-LE V2 is an enhancement to the earlier versions 1 and 1.2. Built from aircraft grade aluminium with hard anodize type 3 black coating offering good environmental protection, corrosion resistance and durability. There are multiple O-Ring Seals at various locations in C-LE V2 for water resistance. JETBeam C-LE V2 has 5 mode Microcontroller (µC) Controlled drive circuit, with three brightness levels, strobe & SOS mode and LOP Metal Reflector. One of the distinct change from the previous versions is the addition of click switch on the tail cap. This provides easier access to switch on and in between different modes.

Light Operation & Output:
Light Operation: Simple, click switch. To change modes after switching on, press and release the tail cap half way before you hear the click sound in quick succession. When desired mode has arrived release the tail cap.

JETBeam Commitment towards Quality: One of the notable improvements with JETBeam C-LE V2 is not just improvement in quality of light but it also includes RUIZHI Trading Co. certificate of authenticity and warranty. Each light has it's unique code and date of manufacture is printed on each card accompanying C-LE V2. Four extra O-Rings and para cord are also included free of charge along with JETBeam C-LE V2.

Reflector Comparison: On the left you can see LOP reflector in C-LE V2 and on right is the smooth reflector of Civictor V1. The main advantage of LOP reflector is that it offers a fairly good beam with no artifacts in comparison the smooth reflector has slight artifacts.

Bezel: Reflector in JETBeam C-LE V2 is built from solid Aluminium. The reflector has Light Orange Peel (LOP) Finish. Cree XR-E LED is perfectly aligned and centered within reflector.

The bezel housing AR Coated Glass lens. You can also see a distinct orange colored O-Ring seal in front of the AR Coated glass lens.

Body: JETBeam C-LE V2 is machined from Aircraft Grade Aluminium. The Machining is excellent and is without any major flaws. The body of JETBeam C-LE V2 mainly consists of 3 main parts; bezel housing lens and electronics, battery tube and tail cap. The head has diamond shaped knurling that provide good grip, there is also a ring of straight knurling. The battery tube as well as the tail cap have attractive diamond-shaped knurling offering good grip.

The tail cap which houses click switch has distinctive red rubber cover.

Inside the tail cap you will see Gold colored spring contact for negative terminal of the battery.

Runtime:
Alkaline 1: The runtime for JETBeam C-LE V2 with Energizer Alkaline on MAX is about 50 Minutes till 50%, relatively good considering the light runs in good regulation with 1 AA Alkaline battery. Please note that this is not the end of Alkaline battery. After giving some rest, the Alkaline battery will revive itself to certain extent.
Alkaline 1 R: The same battery as the above test, but with 1 day rest. Note how it still provides sufficient illumination for about 12-14 additional Minutes. Even after this test, the battery is not fully depleted yet. The light still provides good amount of light.
NiMH 2100: 2100 mAh Sanyo NiMH battery was used to perform this test. The runtime for JETBeam C-LE V2 with 2100 mAh Sanyo NiMH on MAX is about 1 Hour 50 Minutes till 50%. This is an excellent result considering the total amount of light and nearly flat output curve.
